We have been trying to be more spiritual oriented in our family home evenings lately and help our kids under stand the gospel by teaching and testifying. So far it has been a mixed bag and we still have trouble keeping a handle on the crew at times, but it is helping me and I am grateful for that. The world can be a difficult place and confusing to navigate so we want our kids to know that they are not alone. Not just understand the LDS church from an intellectual stand point, but feel it and be moved by it. I have been blessed to have the guidance of loving parents who sheparded me along putting me on the right path and letting me make mistakes. It is a difficult balancing act and ultimately each has his or her own life, but we can be influences for good. I love having family night and spending time with my wife and kids. Love em. Here are some pictures of our recent doings.
At the Draper temple for family night trying to get pictures with Nana and Papa.
Maybe we should spring for some new shorts?
With the Robbins on Jul 4th after the neighborhood pancake breakfast. We hiked up Bell Canyon.
The view looking south. It makes a nice run too.
